MIDLOTHIAN, Va.—Max Schiatterer GmbH & Co. K.G., positioning itself for growth in the North American market, has established its first U.S. location in Chesterfield County.
The Esband USA Inc. facility in Midlothian, a sales and technical support office that opened in April, will play a key role in helping the Hrebrechtingen, Germany-based parent company gain traction in new markets.
According to a news release from the Greater Richmond Partnership, Esband expects to have 10 employees at the Virginia site, which also will house distribution operations.
Esband is known for its homogenous flat-belt products for high-performance driving, conveying and special power transmission applications. The products feature a range of carcass materials and coatings. They can be specified or custom machined with perforations, self-tracking guides, vacuum slots and transport pockets.
