AGC Chemicals opens California office

EXTON, Pa.—In response to increased demand for semiconductor and electronic materials on the West Coast, AGC Chemicals Americas Inc. has opened a business development office in Cupertino, Calif.

The facility will allow AGC Chemicals to build business relationships, partnerships and assist in gaining membership in technology organizations and associations in the region.

"Our advanced materials help semiconductor and electronics manufacturers create products that can hold up in the harshest conditions," said Ichiro Yamanouchi, new market development director for AGC Chemicals Americas. "Our presence in this region will enable us to better assist semiconductor and electronics manufacturers with selecting and using the most cost-effective product for their specific applications."

The new office will market a range of advanced materials for the semiconductor and electronics industries, including ETFE and PFA resins for tubers, hoses, gaskets and sheets; ETFE films; and fluoroelastomers for semiconductor plasma components.

Other products offered through the Cupertino office will be amorphous fluoroelastomers, adhesive fluoropolymers, cleaning agents for electronic products and ionomer dispersion grades for hydrogen fuel cells.
