HANGZHOU, China—Zhongce Rubber Group (ZC Rubber) has promoted Ákos Barcsik to deputy general manager of ZC Rubber Europe.
Barcsik will oversee ZC Rubber's sales in Europe as well as the development of truck/bus radial tire products for the European market.
Barcsik joined ZC Rubber in 2017 initially as field engineer manager and later as sales director of ZC Rubber Europe. ZC Rubber said he helped to develop and improve the Westlake brand II truck tires. He became the European sales director in 2021, where ZC Rubber Europe has seen an increase in sales.
Before joining ZC Rubber, Barcsik was national field engineer manager for nine years at Bridgestone East Europe.
ZC Rubber recently named tire industry veteran Martin Winter as technical director tire development for the firm's Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas regions.
