NORTHVILLE, Mich. — Cooper Standard Holdings, Inc. has added an experienced executive and auditor to its board of directors.
Christine Moore, an executive vice president and general auditor at Comerica Bank in Detroit, will begin Aug. 1. The initial term will expire at Cooper Standard's 2022 shareholder meeting.
"With almost 30 years of accounting and auditing experience, Moore's proven leadership and background in internal audit and information systems will assist the board with risk oversight and further drive sustained value for the company," Jeffrey Edwards, Cooper Standard chairman and CEO, said in a statement. "We welcome her to the board and are eager to incorporate her new perspective into our strategy going forward."
At Comerica, Moore oversees the strategy, direction and management of internal audit and asset quality review. She also is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and working relationships with external auditors, regulatory examiners and senior and executive management.
She previously served as controller at Jordan Services Inc. in Detroit from 2000 to 2004, where she established the company's accounting department. Moore began her accounting and auditing career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Detroit in 1986.
