MURRAY, Ky.—Vanderbilt Rubber Chemicals L.L.C., a global supplier of chemical products and services, has promoted two employees in its rubber and plastics department.
Vanderbilt promotes Murphy, Gauquier to newly created posts
Dan Murphy will fill the newly created position of technical services manager, while Brian Gauquier has been promoted to the new position of global stabilization product manager.
Previously, Murphy served as rubber chemist in the wire and cable industry while working for Marmon Utility at Kerite Cable. Murphy began at Vanderbilt Chemicals as a rubber laboratory technician in 2014, transitioning to inside sales manager in 2017 and FKM product manager in 2021.
Gauquier has been with Vanderbilt for more than 16 years, starting as a technical sales representative.
"Through these various roles, Brian has acquired a broad knowledge of rubber and plastics compounding," according to Vanderbilt. "In his new role, Brian will be responsible for developing, implementing and driving strategies for stabilization products, applications and markets."
