LA PORTE, Ind.—Citing their "outstanding leadership skills" in finance and marketing, Jaeger-Unitek Sealing Solutions Inc. has appointed two employees to executive positions in the company.
According to the supplier of engineered rubber and plastic profile extrusions, Christie Wester, who joined Jaeger-Unitek in 2016 as an accounting manager, was named chief financial officer. Tricia Sena, who was hired by Jaeger-Unitek in 2018 as marketing manager, was named marketing and communications manager.
Both assumed their respective posts on March 8, International Women's Day, Jaeger said.
"Both Christie and Tricia exhibit outstanding leadership skills and have transformed our finance and marketing functions," said Kevin Casey, Jaeger-Unitek president and CEO "Additionally, both are recognized for their ability to generate innovative ideas, lead organizational teams and achieve significant results."
According to Jaeger, Wester is a CPA and a Butler University graduate who began her finance career with Ernst & Young in Indianapolis as an auditor. She later worked in the company's London office prior to returning to Indiana.
Sena graduated from Indiana University, beginning her career as a graphic designer with the Northwest Indiana Times. She later worked as a brand manager at Luke Family of Brands, Jaeger said in a release on the appointments.
The two women have been finalists in the Northwest Indiana Influential Women program, and again have been nominated for the 2020 Awards Banquet in September, Jaeger said.
"We are thrilled to recognize Christie and Tricia, especially on the International Women's Day," Casey said.
Jaeger-Unitek was founded in 1925 and serves the industrial, agricultural and transportation industries. It is a member of the privately-held Jaeger Group, a global organization headquartered in Hanover, Germany.
