HANOVER, Germany—Rubber equipment major Troester GmbH & Co. K.G. has appointed Thomas Holzer as its new CEO, effective Jan. 1.
Holzer takes over the CEO role from Peter Schmidt, managing partner at Troester, according to a Jan. 30 statement from the Hanover-based manufacture.
The hand-over is part of a strategy "to maintain continuity in the management of the company and at the same time provide new stimulation for the future development of Troester."
Schmidt will continue to "actively support" Troester as managing partner and CFO. Bernd Pielsticker will continue to manage the operational business as chief operating officer.
Holzer, who has been with Troester since March 2021, was previously managing director at Voith, based in Heidenheim, Germany, and in the Asia region.
"Our common goal in the management board is to continue Troester's success story and lead the company into new dimensions," Holzer said in a statement.
