FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Trelleborg Sealing Solutions has promoted Brett Hopkins to technical manager for its chemical and processing business.
The developer and producer of seals, bearings and custom-molded components, one of three major business divisions for Trelleborg A.B., has made Hopkins the primary liaison for the technical engineering community, responsible for development of products, materials and applications in Europe and Asia.
"Brett's strong engineering background, technical knowledge and network will be critical to his success in this role," said Thijs Menzel, global segment director for chemical and processing. "I am confident that Brett will continue to build the momentum of the team."
Hopkins began with the chemical transportation team about two years ago, according to Trelleborg. Previous to that he worked for Parker Hannifin as instrumentation technical manager.
