PLYMOUTH, Minn.—Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical has named Scott Ryan as general manager for its Massachussets-based Northborough Biopharma Center of Excellence.
Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical, a company within Trelleborg A.B. that uses operations from the group's two main business divisions of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions and Trelleborg Industrial Solutions, works in medical, biotech and pharmaceutical applications.
"Scott will collaborate across business units, ensuring the balance of both cost efficiencies and service levels," said Linda Muroski, president of Trelleborg Healthcare & Medical and Industrial Americas. "He will play a critical role as our new general manager in planning, organizing and directing manufacturing functions.
"I am confident that under his leadership we will continue to grow the Northborough Biopharma Center of Excellence."
Ryan, with more than three decades of industry experience, will be charged with strategy and oversight in all management areas. He will direct production, building repairs, maintenance and safety.
Ryan previously worked for a plasmid manufacturing company and led operations of a genetics laboratory.
