Zach Worthington joins Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn.—Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical has named Zach Worthington as the company's next operations excellence manager.

The hiring is effective immediately, according to the health and medical branch of Trelleborg, an engineering firm that develops polymer solutions for medical, biotech and pharmaceutical applications.

"Trelleborg has a long commitment to excellence across operations, with five formal programs in place," said Daniel Diffenderfer, director of strategic initiatives for Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical. "Zach will further strengthen and harmonize Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical's approach to continuous improvement."

Worthington will be charged with the implementation of "group excellence" programs at all international Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical sites, the company stated in a June press release.

He previously worked for Toyota, achieving Six Sigma Green Belt certification from ASQ. He is working on his Black Belt certification set for completion later this year.

Worthington also has worked for Donaldson Co. in Wisconsin as quality manager.
