TRELLEBORG, Sweden—Trelleborg Group has named Katarina Olsson as the company's next general counsel, succeeding Charlotta Grahs in the position.
The transition will take place after the second quarter of this year, the company said Jan. 28.
She will oversee the legalities of mergers and acquisitions, risk management and regulatory compliance, and serve as secretary on the Trelleborg Group Management Board.
"We are pleased to welcome Katarina to the Trelleborg Group," said Peter Nilsson, president and CEO. "Katarina has an excellent background that will allow her to lead the continuing legal work for the group's strategically prioritized areas."
Olsson comes to Trelleborg from Beijer Ref, a wholesaler of cooling technology and air conditioning. She also worked for ICA and Ericsson.
Previously she served as corporate counsel at ICA and Ericsson.
"I come to Trelleborg with knowledge and experience gained from working at global and also entrepreneur-driven companies," Olsson said. "I very much look forward to taking up my position at Trelleborg and participate in the continued development of the group."
The publicly traded Trelleborg Group has three main segments, Trelleborg Industrial Solutions, Trelleborg Wheel Systems and Trelleborg Sealing Solutions.
