KIYOSU, Japan—Toyoda Gosei's board of directors has named company veterans Naoki Miyazaki and Toru Koyama as the chairman and president.
The appointments, disclosed March 23, will be made official at the company's 97th general shareholders' meeting scheduled for June 2020, the Japanese automotive supplier said.
Currently the president and representative director at Toyoda Gosei, Miyazaki will take over the position of chairman after the June AGM.
Koyama, an executive vice president, will replace Miyazaki as the president, to become the first company employee to take the top job in 38 years.
