Thermoid announces new leadership team

BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio—Industrial rubber products manufacturer Thermoid has selected a new leadership team, including a new president of its Rubber Products Group, Mike Rainey.

Mike Rainey joined HBD Industries Inc., the parent company of Thermoid, and will be responsible for all Thermoid plants. The U.S. Army veteran previously worked as director of transformation at Worthington Industries where he served as director of transformation.

Eric Johnson has joined Thermoid as director of sales and marketing.

Johnson previously served as senior sales manager for Avery Dennison.

He also spent 12 years with Omnova Solutions, Inc., holding roles in marketing, sales and general management for their decorative laminates business.

Nikki Wallace has been promoted to customer service manager for all three Thermoid manufacturing facilities in Bellfontaine, Oneida, Tenn., and Chanute, Kan. Wallace has been with Thermoid for two years and is additionally responsible for its inside sales organization.

Thermoid manufactures a number of industrial rubber products, including multipurpose industrial hoses, industrial ducting and conveyor belting for multiple applications.

HBD Industries is a privately held diversified manufacturer of industrial products. HBD companies produce alloy components, industrial rubber products and power transmission solutions.
