STOW, Ohio—Struktol Co. of America L.L.C. has added Jeff Kasper as director of manufacturing, effective June 7.
Struktol makes specialty additives for customers across the globe. The company is celebrating its 44th year in business at its Northeast Ohio location.
"Jeff brings over 30 years of chemical, plastics and machining manufacturing experience with an emphasis on batch processes," Struktol said in a June 7 press release.
Kasper comes to Struktol from Cleveland-based Valtris Specialty Chemicals, where he served as plant manager. He also worked for PolyOne and as a process manager with Gojo Industries Inc., both of which are based in Northeast Ohio as well.
These positions have given Kasper experience in environmental health and safety, quality assurance, customer service, maintenance and capital projects, among other areas.
"Jeff's extensive manufacturing experience will be very beneficial to Struktol's growth in the industry," the company said.
