RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.—Sumitimo Rubber North America Inc. (SRNA) has promoted finance veteran Toby Beiner to the role of chief financial officer, overseeing both Falken brand tires and Dunlop brand motorcycle tires.
SRNA President and CEO Darren Thomas said the move was effective immediately.
Beiner joined SRNA in July 2018 as corporate controller. Two years later, he was promoted to vice president of finance. He has served in other senior-level positions, including controller and CFO, during his two-plus decades in the workforce.
"Considering the magnitude of our North American revenues, which exceeded $1 billion, Toby's leadership and knowledge are essential as we continue to grow," Thomas said. "The multiple capabilities he provides, plus the experience gained working with former SRNA President and CEO Richard Smallwood and former CFO Pete Buck, will enable Toby to further succeed in his new role."
