RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA—Sumitomo Rubber North America (SRNA) has promoted Michelle Cotter to Dunlop Motorcycle Tires' customer care manager.
Cotter, who joined SRNA in 2012, has been with the Dunlop motorcycle business unit since 2015. In her 12 years with SRNA, she has worked for the Falken and Dunlop motorcycle brands, with positions in business analysis and customer service.
SRNA is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd.
Cotter said her experience of serving customers and having various responsibilities "have prepared me to take this next step in my career. I'm excited to continue my journey at SRNA, and look forward to both the growth and challenges that lie ahead."
Mike Buckley, Sr., vice president of Dunlop Motorcycle Tires sales and marketing, said she "demonstrates the true spirit of SRNA and is well respected throughout the organization and by our customers.
"Her commitment to helping customers and supporting her team members has played a big role in earning this promotion."
SNRA CEO Darren Thomas said Cotter's "passion for, and dedication to, serving our customers has helped set an example for how our organization should operate in the marketplace."
