DICKSON, Tenn.—Zochem L.L.C., one of North America's leading suppliers of zinc oxide, will see a changing of the guard beginning Nov. 15 as Mohit Sharma takes over as president and CEO.
Sharma, who is based at Zochem's Brampton, Ontario, plant as general manager, will replace Ron Crittendon in the company's top executive post, Zochem announced Nov. 9. Crittendon will transition to lead new business development with the company.
"Mo is the right manager to lead Zochem as its market opportunities continue to expand," Crittendon said. "Zochem has some of the best people in the industry and I look forward to watching them continue to set new quality, service, environmental and safety standards."
Sharma has been with Zochem since 2013, serving as both director of operations and GM. He has experience in both science and business, with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Waterloo, and a master's in business administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
Crittendon, a co-founder of Zochem's parent company, along with other Zochem co-owners will help develop new opportunities for the company, with an emphasis on sister company synergies, the firm said in a news release..
