Sentury hires Maples as territory sales manager

HIALEAH, Fla.—Sentury Tire USA has hired Jim Maples as territory sales manager overseeing the sales of passenger light truck and commercial TBR tires in the eastern region.

Sentury said Maples is an "industry-respected, top performing sales veteran," with more than 30 years of experience in managing multiple sales in the auto and tire industries, including time spent with Prinx CHengshan Tire North America, Marangoni Tread North America, Itochu International and Snider Fleet Solutions.

He was experience in the commercial transportation, automotive and defense industry and "specializes in building long-lasting account relationships through honesty, superior service, and solution-oriented approaches."

Maples served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army for six years. He transitioned to the automotive industry in 1991 and has managed diverse territories at his previous companies, including Marangoni and Snider Fleet Solutions.
