VIENNA, Austria—Stefan Fida, deputy chairman of Semperit A.G. Holding's Supervisory Board, will take over the duties of chairman for the board on an interim basis.
According to a Dec. 27, 2022, news release, Herbert Ortner has resigned from the position and left the board.
Fida will take over the agendas until the next annual general meeting, which will take place April 25, where the supervisory board will propose Cord Prinzhorn for election.
Ortner joined the Semperit board in 2020 and took over as the chairman of the board in 2021.
Semperit, headquartered in Vienna, is a publicly listed company that develops specialized polymer products for the industrial and medical sectors in more than 100 countries. The company employs about 7,000 people globally.
