RubberSource of Canada promotes Nalex Cordova to vice president role

CAMBRIDGE, Ontario—RubberSource Inc., a manufacturer of various rubber lining applications, has promoted Nalex Cordova to vice president of global expansion strategy.

Cordova took over the position in January.

"Nalex has done an excellent job growing our business. He holds a pivotal role in building new customer relationships worldwide," said Rob Adie, president and CEO of RubberSource. "As the world is returning back to full production, we are excited to be positioned as a key supplier to the mining, chemical and transportation industries."

Cordova, who has 15 years of experience in the rubber lining space, will serve English, Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries. He is co-owner of the definitive industry source, "Bailey's Rubber Lining Application Handbook."

He was hired by RubberSource in 2021 after the company announced a distribution center in Poland to serve the European, African and Chinese markets.

The rubber linings produced by RubberSource include uncured and pre-cured products, polyurea coatings and chemical protection materials for metals and concrete.

RubberSource has applications in the mining, aggregate, chemical storage and transportation industries.

The company produces the Permobond brand.
