R.D. Abbott promotes two on sales side of business

GARDEN GROVE, Calif.—R.D. Abbott Co. Inc. continues to elevate employees from within, naming Mat Dove as national sales manager and Jason Huff as East Coast sales manager.

The promotions—both Dove and Huff are veterans of the materials science, engineering and distribution company—took effect Jan. 1.

"R.D. Abbott is excited to ring in the New Year," said Jerry McCall, vice president of sales and marketing. "In the midst of historic supply chain challenges, Mat Dove attentively supported our East Coast customers, and we look forward to seeing him excel in his new and larger role."

McCall called Huff "an extraordinary builder of trusted relationships."

"We're confident that our East Coast customers will enjoy the exceptional level of service they'll receive from him," McCall said.

Dove, who joined R.D. Abbott in 2017 as an account manager, had served as East Coast sales manager.

Huff, who moved into Dove's previous position, had served as a senior account manager for the U.S. Midwest. Huff has more than 20 years experience in the rubber and plastics industry, according to R.D. Abbott.

Both will be charged with developing industry relationships, offering technical support, serving as liaisons to suppliers and delivering solutions developed by R.D. Abbott.
