BLACKBURN, U.K.—United Kingdom-based supplier of elastomeric sealing solutions Precision Polymer Engineering Ltd. (PPE)—part of Idex Corp.'s Idex Sealing Solutions—has named Hynek Jakubicek as the company's new general manager.
Jakubicek will oversee all aspects of the company's operations, including strategic planning, business development and organizational change, the company said in a July 11 announcement. In his role as general manager, Jakubicek will support PPE in its new strategy, which is focused on major customers in high-growth markets, the company added.
Jakubicek previously served as general manager of FTL Technology and brings with him "broad experience within different industries," PPE said. In previous roles, he has had a strong focus on the development and commercialization of advanced engineering solutions and has implemented strategies to drive efficiency.
"Hynek has a strong understanding of the unique demands of the industries we serve," said Neil Thompson, president of Idex Sealing Solutions. "We believe his expertise and vision will be important in strengthening our position in the market."
