LUXEMBOURG—Piotr Gaska will transition from director of CQLT SaarGummi Technologies' European region to chief operating officer at the seal systems supplier.
SaarGummi Group said in a release that Gaska has international operational and manufacturing experience in the automotive industry, having served as director of the European region for SaarGummi Automotive from January 2014 through June 2015.
Gaska said he hopes to align the company toward future growth.
"The vision of the future is a customer-oriented vision," Gaska said. "Being guided by customer values helps increase overall shareholder value and employee motivation. With this approach we are not going to follow the path of others, but continue to build off the excellent work the SaarGummi organization has done while creating new visions for a stronger future."
Larry Johnson, CEO of SaarGummi Group, said Gaska's global experience will be a benefit to the company.
"With Piotr Gaska, we have been able to add a strong experienced individual to our management team with extensive knowledge in the sealing industry," Johnson said. "With Mr. Gaska's experience he can assist the SaarGummi Team in meeting our short- and long-term objectives to strengthen our global position."
SaarGummi Group is an affiliate of CQLT Group, a Chinese state-owned enterprise. More than 7,200 employees work at locations in North and South America, Asia and Europe, according to SaarGummi.
