DALLAS—Pete Haberbosch, former vice president of business development at Singer Industrial, has been promoted to president of the 1,500-person distribution company.
Haberbosch has more than three decades of industry experience in industrial rubber and fluid power, the last 10 of those with Singer.
The promotion took effect June 18.
"Our leaders have many years of experience, and a track record of accomplishment that has made them well-known and respected in our industry," said Don Fritzinger, chairman of Singer Industrial. "Pete's dedication to our core values, success in supporting our field operations, along with his leadership skills and industry background, make him the perfect choice as Singer Industrial's next president."
In his previous role, Haberbosch oversaw Singer's mergers and acquisitions.
In addition, Chris Holder, Singer's former vice president of operational excellence, has been promoted to chief operating officer.
This promotion also took effect June 18.
Holder, who came to Singer from Lewis-Goetz, has been with Singer for the last eight years.
Haberbosch and Holder will work in concert with Sam Petillo, president of the Rubber Products Division; and Scott Wojciak, president of the Fluid Power Division.
Singer's leadership team also includes Natalie Curtis, Rebecca Gummerson and Charlie Brown.
