MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio—Beginning Jan. 1, Parker-Hannifin Corp.'s Fluid Connectors Group will have new leadership.
The Mayfield Heights-based maker of motion and control technologies said Oct. 26 that the board of directors had named William "Skip" Bowman vice president and president of the Fluid Connectors Group. He will succeed Andrew Ross, who previously was named chief operating officer, a role he will step into Jan. 1.
Bowman has been with Parker since 1983, first serving as a manufacturing engineer for the Instrumentation Connectors Division. He later served as vice president of operations for the Fluid Connectors Group from 2007-15, a role in which he had broad oversight for multiple divisions globally.
"Skip's capabilities and experience make him ideally suited for this role," Jennifer Parmentier, Parker's chief operating officer, said in a statement. "He has leadership experience in multiple operating groups at Parker, including as an operations leader in the Fluid Connectors Group. This familiarity will allow him to transition smoothly to his new responsibilities."
