DALLAS—OmniSource, subsidiary of tire brand owner Omni United Ltd., has hired former Falken and Goodyear employee Rob Montasser to vice president of sales for the U.S. market.
Montasser will work closely with the leadership team to drive U.S. sales and operations, according to OmniSource, with a focus on expanding market share, optimizing sales strategies, managing sales channels and enhancing brand presence, particularly for Omni United Group's flagship Radar tire brand.
According to OmniSource, Montasser has more than two decades of experience in sales leadership, organizational development and strategic planning within the tire, automotive and other industries. The company said he will be drive expansion for the brand in the U.S.
"The U.S. is a key market for us with immense growth potential," Omni United President and CEO GS Sareen said. "With Rob's extensive experience, I am confident we will expand our presence and continue to grow."
He previously was vice president at Falken Tire, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber North America, leading the North American sales team for passenger, light truck and truck/bus radial tires. He was tasked there with driving unit growth and enhancing sales across multiple channels.
OmniSource said Montasser has a "reputation for building and fostering customer relationships, developing high-performing teams and executing effective sales and organizational strategies."
He also worked at Dunlop motorcycle tires.
Montasser, who is based in Dallas, said he is thrilled to join Omni and "working with our great team to drive growth and innovation in the U.S. market.
