STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Swedish oil refiner Nynas A.B. has appointed Eric Gosse as CEO.
Eric Gosse will join the tire and rubber industry supplier this September, taking the helm from Stein Ivar Bye, who has been the acting president and CEO since May last year, according to a Nynas news release.
Gosse worked with Total Energies for 25 years in its bitumen and fuel and lubes businesses. He holds an engineering degree from École Centrale de Paris and a master's degree in finance. He is currently a "key member" of Vivo Energy's executive committee, covering supply and distribution and business-development for its power and solar operations.
"Eric Gosse comes with a strong industry background and broad international experience in executive positions," Bye said. "I am confident that his leadership will ensure that Nynas' transformation journey continues at a high pace."
Bye will continue his engagement in Nynas and support the company as chairman of the board.
