BRIMINGHAM, Ala.—Motion Industries Inc., a global distributor of industrial replacement parts and technology solutions, has promoted Eric Gonzalez to senior vice president for business development for the Mexico and Canada segments.
"Eric's energy and sales leadership are exceptional," said James Howe, president of Motion. "I am confident he will elevate Motion's sales growth, and it will be exciting to see the new team synergies he orchestrates and influences."
The promotion is effective immediately.
Gonzalez has been with Motion for 26 years, previously working as a corporate trainee, outside sales representative, branch manager, fluid power specialist, automation specialist and in corporate account roles.
In his new role, Gonzalez will be charged with establishing teams in North America that are focused on industry segments and business development.
