LINCOLN, Neb.—Monolith, a producer of carbon black via methane pyrolysis, has added experience to its sales team with the addition of Tom Lahey as vice president of carbon black sales.
Lahey took the post May 4.
"Tom is a dynamic leader with an impressive background," said Amy Ostermeyer, executive vice president of development for Monolith. "He is joining our team at a time of impactful growth and will be a tremendous asset as we expand our carbon black market presence.

With 25 years of experience in chemical and industrial sales and services, Lahey will lead the sales team. He worked for Evonik prior to joining Monolith.
Lahey will be charged with making further inroads in the tire, rubber goods, inks and plastics industries that Monolith serves.
