ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn.—Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical, a division of Sweden-based Trelleborg A.B., has promoted Mike Urbanski to business development manager for its BioPharma unit.

The promotion took effect Feb. 1.
"The biopharma industry continues to innovate and push the boundaries of what is possible in therapeutic development," said Kevin Ehlert, director of mergers and acquisitions for the health care and medical segment. "Trelleborg is investing alongside our customers to continue to provide differentiated solutions to the market.
"Mike will be an instrumental part of leading Trelleborg's approach and investments now and in the future."
Urbanski, who started his career at Automated Dynamics (acquired by Trelleborg in 2017), will be charged with leading Trelleborg's biopharma applications, including silicone and silicone tubing, braided hose components, thermoplastic products, and seals and assemblies.
Urbanski spent six years working for Trelleborg at the firm's Albany, N.Y., site, before accepting this position in Minnesota.
