BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Mike Esposito has been named group vice president, Motion Automation Intelligence, at Motion Industries Inc.
The global distributor of bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics and power transmission products said the hire, announced Nov. 27, is effective immediately.
Esposito will report to Joe Limbaugh, Motion's executive vice president and chief operations officer.

"With his diverse yet relevant background and technical expertise, he possesses a unique insight into the industry's needs and operations. In addition, Mike's leadership skills and deep passion for automation will certainly spur Motion Automation Intelligence to new heights."
Esposito most recently worked as director of Motion Automation Intelligence's Engineering Assembly Solutions.
He came to Motion as part of the Kamen Distribution Group acquisition in 2022.
Esposito brings more than 25 years of industrial automation and manufacturing experience, with "cross-functional experience as an automation consumer, producer and supplier."
He also has worked at iAutomation, CDF Corp. and SencorpWhite.
Motion Automation Intelligence solution technologies include robotics, motion control, machine vision, digital Networking/IIoT, industrial framing, pneumatics and custom mechatronic systems.
