BEVERLY, Mass.—Max Kley, who has been at the helm of Freudenberg Medical since August 2016, is taking on a new role with the company and turning over the reins of Freudenberg Medical in the process.
Mark Ostwald will succeed Kley as Freudenberg Medical CEO. Kley is poised to take on a new role as CEO of the newly established Freudenberg business group for the battery and fuel cell market.
"Mark is the ideal candidate to lead Freudenberg Medical into the next phase of rapid growth and global expansion," Kley said in a statement. "His strong focus on customer needs, his experience in the medical device industry and his international background ensure that Freudenberg Medical will continue to be a driving force for innovation and quality in the global medical device and pharmaceutical industries."
