Kishbaugh named new Trexel CEO

WILMINGTON, Mass.—Levi Kishbaugh has been appointed CEO of Trexel Inc.

Kishbaugh, who has been with the company since 1999, replaces Brian Bechard, who died following a heart attack on Aug. 6. Bechard had served as CEO since 2015.

Most recently, Kishbaugh was the vice president of engineering with full responsibility for all technical activities within the company. His areas of expertise include the MuCell process, injection molding, materials and application development, according to a Trexel news release.

Prior to Trexel, Kishbaugh worked in product and application development roles at Montell Polyolefins and Dow Chemical Co. He has a bachelor's degree in science from Stevens Institute of Technology.

"Brian did a wonderful job positioning Trexel to move into some new and exciting markets. His leadership, energy, and commitment to the company were extraordinary," Kishbaugh said in the release. "I look forward to building on that work as we are finding great success in many new markets."

Trexel, based in Wilmington, has led the development of MuCell microcellular foaming injection molding technology. The company also offers TecoCell, a chemical foaming and nucleating agent technology that provides uniform microcellular structure to molded parts.
