GENEVA—As the Tire Industry Project moves forward with its mission to better understand how the industry does and can have a greater sustainable impact on the planet and its people, and it will do so with new leadership.
Larisa Kryachkova succeeds Anne-Cecile Remont as TIP executive director, effective May 1.
And with Kryachkova, TIP believes it has found the perfect leader for the perfect time.
"Larisa's appointment comes at a key moment for the Tire Industry Project," TIP's Executive Committee said in a written statement. "We recently announced an evolution of the project, and we are enthusiastic about Larisa's contribution to delivering on our enhanced mission, to anticipate, understand and address global environmental, social and governance issues relevant to the tire industry and its value chain."
Kryachkova, TIP said, holds a doctorate in business administration and has focused research on sustainability. Additionally, she has "extensive experience in finance, change management, and sustainability" from previous positions she has held with Ardagh Group and Owens-Illinois.
