WUXI, China—Desma China has a new leader at the helm.
Kevin Wang took over as CEO April 1, replacing Haozhong Chen, who held the position since August 2017.
Chen returned to the company headquarters in Germany where he will take over the role of director global strategy and change management. He will be responsible for business development, global sourcing, organizational development and corporate culture within the group.
Wang, who joined Desma in December, spent four months learning the ropes as co-managing director before taking the helm at the company.
He has more than 17 years of experience in the rubber and plastics machinery industry and, most recently, served as vice president of sales at Engel's Chinese subsidiary, WinTec.
