HOUSTON—Orion Engineered Carbons, a specialty carbon black supplier, has named Jeffrey Glajch as its next chief financial officer, effective April 18.
Glajch comes to the role with 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors of fiscal leadership.
"Jeff is a seasoned leader with a demonstrated track record of driving company growth and providing strong strategic financial leadership," said Orion CEO Corning Painter. "We are excited about the experience he brings and look forward to him joining the Orion leadership team."
Glajch will succeed Bob Hrivnak, who had served as interim CFO, along with his position as chief accounting officer.
Hrivnak will continue as chief accounting officer, according to Orion.
"We would also like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Bob, who as our interim CFO has ensured a seamless transition," Painter said.
Glajch comes to Orion from Graham Corp., a publicly traded designer and manufacturer of vacuum and heat transfer equipment for energy markets and process industries, where he served as CFO for 13 years.
Orion Engineered Carbons sells carbon black in powder or pellet form. The material has application in tires, coatings, ink, batteries, plastics and numerous other products.
