PARIS—French components manufacturer Hutchinson S.A. has named Helene Moreau-Leroy as its chairman and CEO, effective April 1.
In an April 6 statement after her appointment, Moreau-Leroy reinstated Hutchinson's commitment to "responsible & sustainable mobility," amid the "far-reaching changes in the automotive and aerospace markets."
Moreau-Leroy joined Hutchinson in November 2020 to serve as deputy CEO, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Prior to that she worked with French aerospace supplier Safran for more than 17 years, most recently serving as a member of the executive committee and the CEO of Safran Transmission Systems, a division specializing in the design and manufacture of power transmissions for the aerospace and space industries.
In 2018, she oversaw the integration of Zodiac Aerospace on its acquisition by Safran.
Moreau-Leroy holds an MBA in international business from the University of New England in Australia, and is also lead director of the board of directors of French materials supplier Arkema S.A.
She is a knight of the French national order of the legion of honor.
