FREUDENBERG, Germany—Andreas Limper is stepping down from his position as co-chief executive officer of HF Mixing Group GmbH.
Throughout his 28 years at HF Mixing, formerly known as ThyssenKrupp Elastomertechnik, Limper has played a key role in the development of mixing technology in the rubber industry.
The HF statement did not say when Limper would retire from his role, but did note that he will continue to devote time to research, and serve as a consultant on development projects. He also will continue his teaching and research activities at the IKV at the RWTH Aachen, where he provides "advice and support" to scientific working groups in the field of rubber.
Internationally, Limper plans to collaborate with the University of Groningen, in the Netherlands, on artificial intelligence.
The industry veteran also plans to take up the position of first deputy chairman and the German Rubber Association.
