BURTON, Ohio—Hexpol Compounding Americas, the largest custom mixing firm in North America, has named Mark Ramsey as chief procurement officer.
Ramsey succeeds Ellen Clunk, who left the role in August. The appointment became effective Aug. 12.
"We are excited to have Mark take the helm as the CPO for HCA," said Gary Moore, Hexpol Compounding Americas president and CEO. "With his extensive background and proven track record in negotiation and supplier management, Mark will be an integral part of the HCA executive team."
Ramsey brings more than 25 years of experience in raw material procurement and supply chain expertise to the role at HCA. He comes from Avon Protection Services, based in Cadillac, Mich., where he most recently served as vice president of global sourcing and supply chain for North America.
Ramsey joins the HCA Executive Leadership Team, which works in support of Moore. Other members of the leadership team include: Bruce Wynd, chief commercial officer; Andrew Chan, chief operations officer; Drew Dubois, chief financial officer; Todd Mowery, chief human resources officer; and Kevin Park, director of pricing and business analysis.
