FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, one of three main business units for Sweden-based Trelleborg A.B., has named Heather Castleman as president of the Industrial Americas business division within Trelleborg Sealing.
The new appointment takes effect immediately.
"Heather has made great contributions to our success in various senior roles," said Juergen Bosch, president, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions. "With her extensive knowledge of the company and proven leadership, I'm confident in her ability to guide Industrial Americas in her new role as president."
Following a major restructuring earlier this year, Castleman takes over Industrial Americas from Linda Muroski, who was named president of the newly created business division, Trelleborg Medical Solutions.
Trelleborg Industrial Solutions is the third major business unit for the group.
"It's a privilege to lead the Industrial Americas team. My primary goal is to deliver exceptional experiences for both our customers and our team members which will lead to further growth and innovation in the region," said Castleman. "I want to thank Linda for her prior leadership and the foundational capabilities that she helped create."
Castleman previously served as vice president of Industrial Americas within Trelleborg Sealing Solutions.
She has worked for Trelleborg in escalating roles since 2004.
During her two decades with Trelleborg, Castleman has developed and implemented business capabilities, driving sales and improving existing programs.
She was integral in the acquisition of Minnesota Rubber and Plastics in October 2022, an $860 million purchase that now falls under Trelleborg Medical Solutions.
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions develops, manufactures and supplies precision seals, bearings and custom-molded polymer components.
