ST. PAUL, Minn.—International adhesives and sealants manufacturer H.B. Fuller Co. has named Teresa Rasmussen as chair of its Board of Directors.
Rasmussen succeeds Lee R. Mitau, who is retiring.
The appointment is effective Jan. 22, 2025.

"Having worked closely with Terry, I know firsthand that she is a visionary leader who brings global perspective and deep customer and go-to-market expertise to the role.
"We look forward to continuing to benefit from Terry's extensive background in the financial services industry as we expand our presence in new high-growth end markets and transform our portfolio to become a 20-percent EBITDA margin business."
Rasmussen currently serves as president and CEO of Thrivent, a Fortune 500 diversified financial services organization. She joined the board at H.B. Fuller in 2020.
She previously served as president of Thrivent's core life, health and annuities business, and as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for Thrivent.
She also has worked for American Express and as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, tax division, as part of the attorney general's honors program.
