WASHINGTON—The National Association of Manufacturers has named Celeste Mastin, CEO of St. Paul, Minn.-based adhesive manufacturer H.B. Fuller, to its Board of Directors.
The appointment was made Oct. 23.
"I am honored to be a part of the NAM Board and look forward to working with my colleagues across the industry to advocate policies that support the long-term success of manufacturers across the country and create opportunities for all," said Mastin.
In her new post, Mastin will focus on advocacy, legal action, work force solutions and operational excellence, according to NAM.
The NAM was founded in 1985 and is the single largest trade association in the U.S. with more than 14,000 members.
The organization represents both iconic brands and small manufacturers alike (about 90 percent of members are small and medium-sized businesses).
The NAM offers resources through its Manufacturing Leadership Council, Manufacturing Institute and the Innovation Research Interchange.
