AKRON—Harwick Standard Distribution Corp. promoted two company veterans into vice president roles.
William Knezevich is vice president of marketing, while Rodney Crowell became vice president of sales, Ernest Pouttu, Harwick Standard president and CEO, announced. The new positions were effective April 1.
Knezevich is primarily responsible for principal and product line development and relationships, and also will manage principal, pricing and advertising.
He joined Harwick in 1990 and became director of marketing in 2023. Prior to that, Knezevich was an account executive for the firm, responsible for sales in the Akron Sales Territory.
He is a member of the ACS Rubber Division, the Ohio Rubber Group, and the Mid-Atlantic Rubber and Plastics Group.
Knezevich attended the University of Akron's Polymer Technology Program.
Crowell began his career at Harwick Standard in 2002, becoming sales director in 2023. He previously was an account executive for the firm, responsible for sales in the Southern Sales Territory.
Prior to joining Harwick, Crowell worked for PPG Industries as a regional sales manager for architectural coatings and then as a senior account executive for the Lowe's Team.
Crowell is a member of the Southern Rubber Group, for which he is a past chair. He also is a member of the ACS Rubber Division.
He received his bachelor's degree in economics from Florida A&M University.
