KULPSVILLE, Pa.—Greene, Tweed & Co. has named William Rottschaefer as director of business development for the manufacturer of elastomers, thermoplastics, composites and engineered components.
The company, Rottschaefer said, will look to grow Greene, Tweed as he focuses on mergers, acquisitions and other strategic initiatives in his new role.
"With his expertise in surveying the commercial landscape to identify optimal opportunities for growth, building acquisition pipelines, as well as identifying, evaluating and executing merger and acquisition transactions at several companies, Bill is a great addition to Greene, Tweed," said Allon Bloch, vice president of business development. "He will partner with our business leaders to build out our growth pipeline and assist Greene, Tweed in realizing our strategic growth goals."
Rottschaefer previously served as director of strategic planning and development for Trinseo and, prior to that, he held a similar role at TE Connectivity (formerly Tyco Electronics).
Rottschaefer has a master's degree in business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree in finance and international business from Pennsylvania State University.
