ASHTABULA, Ohio—Grand River Rubber & Plastics has named Keith Wyatt as its chief operating officer.
Wyatt will be responsible for the firm's operations throughout its three product lines—lathe cut gaskets, vacuum sweeper belts, and drum and pail gaskets. Prior to joining the firm, Grand River said he held a variety of senior operations management positions, including vice president of global supply chain and COO at Enviroplas Inc.
"Keith has a proven record of driving innovation while enhancing profitability and efficiency," Grand River CEO Donald Chaplin said in a statement. "His skillset and extensive knowledge of the rubber products market will be instrumental as we work to improve our operations and deliver long-term value for our customers."
Grand River is an Ashtabula-based, employee-owned rubber product maker of washers, gaskets, vacuum cleaner flat drive belts and pipe support systems for a variety of niche applications. It employs about 200 people.
