AKRON—Goodyear will look to Greg Shank as its next senior director of investor relations.
Shank took over the post effective Feb. 1, reporting to Christina Zamarro, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
"Greg brings deep knowledge of our business from his leadership experience at Goodyear," Zamarro said. "His Goodyear finance experience includes a prior role in investor relations, which, along with his strong communication skills, will make him a valuable resource for the investment community."
Shank has deep financial experience at Goodyear, previously serving as director of financial planning and analysis for the Americas business unit.
He joined the world's third-largest tire manufacturer in 2008, working in numerous financial roles since then.
"I also want to thank Christian Gadzinski for his contributions to investor relations over the past two years and congratulate him as he takes on a new role supporting Goodyear's Commercial Tire business in North America," Zamarro said.
Goodyear also is under a new CEO and president,as Mark Stewart, former chief operating officer for Stellantis N.V. in North America, started that position Jan. 29, succeeding long-time CEO Rich Kramer who announced his retirement in November.
