BALLSTON, N.Y.—As demand for specialty elastomers grows, so grows Specialty Silicone Products Inc.
The company recently promoted Gary Falchi to business development specialist, charged with growing the company's Advanced Materials Division, following six years in various roles with SSP.
"He's developed a strong knowledge of the silicone industry and SSP's EMI shielding and aerospace elastomers," SSP states. "From sheets, rolls and ready-to-mold compounds to extrusions, O-rings and gaskets, SSP has a growing product portfolio."
Falchi joined SSP in 2017 as a production engineer and was promoted to product development engineer in August 2022.
"In his two engineering roles with SSP, Gary supported aerospace, defense and industrial companies that needed ready-to-fabricate materials or finished parts," SSP stated in a Dec. 19 press release announcing the promotion.
SSP makes EMI/RFI shielding elastomers, EMI/RFI conductive O-rings, EMI extrusions, EMI gaskets, military and aerospace silicones, FDA and USP Class VI silicones, and laboratory products.
