WEST MIDLANDS, England—Aftermarket technology service provider Davis-Standard Global Services has tapped Mark Cox as its new managing director for the Davis-Standard United Kingdom division.
Formerly the company's operations director, Cox will take over for long-time managing director Mark Woodgate effective immediately, the company said Jan. 27.

"At Davis-Standard Global Services, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive aftermarket care that maximizes uptime, optimizes performance, and ensures our customers achieve the highest levels of productivity throughout the entire lifecycle of their equipment."
Ching Gettman, President of Davis-Standard Global Services, called the U.K. facility a key part of the company's service network. Appointing Cox to the unit's managing director position fills a major position at a "key part" of the company's global service network, Davis-Standard President Ching Gettman said.
Davis-Standard also renewed its ISO 14001 certification, Gettman added. The international accreditation "recognizes organizations for their commitment to environmental management," the company said, and acknowledges the company's history of environmental friendliness, officials said.
"This certification is a testament to our ongoing commitment to sustainability," Gettman said, "And our dedication to providing our customers with industry-leading technologies and a robust offering of aftermarket solutions designed to ensure we are the Lifecycle partner in polymer processing excellence for our customers, and do so efficiently with an eye toward sustainability."
