Budzar, David Young cross paths again

WILLOUGHBY, Ohio—A former president of Budzar Industries L.L.C. is returning to the process temperature control equipment manufacturer in sales.

David F. Young, who became president of Budzar Industries in 1988 and sold the company to current owner Multistack L.L.C. in August 2018, brings back three decades of experience to the firm.

"We are thrilled to have Dave return to Budzar and join the sales team, bringing back his experience and knowledge," said Joel Maganza, vice president of Budzar Industries. "Dave was with Budzar for more than 30 years and thoroughly understands the product's capabilities. That experience is impossible to find. We're fortunate that Dave has decided to return to our sales team."

Young took over at Budzar 33 years ago, immediately after Joe Budzar sold the company. The company began working in rubber and tire, but soon evolved under Young's leadership to focus on process temperature control equipment.

"Our early success is directly tied to our rubber and tire customers believing in our engineering and manufacturing," Young said. "That faith has continued through all of these years. I look forward to resuming those relationships."

Multistack is based in Sparta, Wis. As part of the purchase agreement three years ago, Young stayed with Budzar until August 2020.

"I guess you can't keep me away," he said. "I missed the daily interaction with customers. I have always loved the sales aspect, and if Joel and the Multistack management team believe I can contribute to the sales team at Budzar, then I want to come back."

Budzar Industries manufactures equipment for the rubber, chemical, pharmaceutical, plastics, food, petroleum, power and paper industries.
