MAUMEE, Ohio—Dana Inc., a manufacturer of propulsion and energy-management solutions for mobility markets, has tapped Byron Foster as senior vice president and chief commercial, marketing and communications officer.
Dana said Foster's experience and successful tenure in executive roles over two decades at Johnson Controls and Adient put him over the top for the position.
"Byron brings tremendous commercial and operational experience to Dana," said James Kamsickas, Dana chairman and CEO. "He will ensure that the entire enterprise is collaborating with customers at the highest levels to identify value-add opportunities for them."
Kamsickas said Foster also will head the process for sharing product technology information and direct the career development program for sales personnel. Foster will have oversight of all global marketing and communications as well.
Foster has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and an master's degree in business management from Northwestern University.
